HOW DO I JOIN?

We welcome members of all abilities to our fun and friendly club. Joining couldn't be simpler, just contact us using the inquiry form on our website or get a taste of the action on a Tuesday or Sunday afternoon.

We hold twice weekly informal "roll-ups" Tuesdays at 1:30 pm and Sundays at 1pm during the season to provide you with the opportunity to enjoy firsthand the historic sport of lawn bowling.

WHAT DO I NEED TO START?

To start you just need a flat pair of gym shoes and a combination of patience and enthusiasm!

We have over thirty sets of lawn bowls at the club to allow you to get a feel of the game before making any firm commitments.

If you were to join as a full member eventually you would want to invest in your own set of woods which can be purchased to your preference.

HOW MUCH DO THE GAMES COST?

We have a reduced membership fee of £100 (including match fees and rink fees) – Pro Rata for new members where applicable. Our green opens on Saturday 18th of April 2026.

Members of the public may use the green subject to the availability of sessions - please refer to the Merton Council Website for fees.

WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DO THE COACHES HAVE?

Welcome to our bowling club, where you'll find a diverse group of bowlers ready to share their expertise as you begin your journey. Our Captain, Richard, along with our experienced members, are always on hand to ensure new members grasp the rules of the game and get off to a strong start.

Our Vice Captain John is a fully qualified coach and will be on hand to be able to provide you guidance at the start of your bowling journey.
